Plataforma CIPÓ has been invited to participate in the “European Union-Latin American and the Caribbean Just Transitions Forum” taking place on May 15th and 16th in Barcelona, Spain. The main objective of the meeting is to facilitate dialogue on the transition towards a more equitable and sustainable global economy. Topics discussed include climate change, social inequality, and energy transition. The event featured distinguished speakers from various fields, including business leaders, academics, and government representatives.
Notably, former Minister of Environment Izabella Teixeira, who received the United Nations (UN) Champions of the Earth award in 2013, was among the speakers.
