CIPÓ plays a leading role in the 28th edition of ENERI

The CIPÓ Platform played a leading role in the 28th edition of the National Meeting of International Relations Students (ENERI), held at UniBH in Belo Horizonte between August 1st and 4th. The event brought together around 850 participants, offering a rich program of lectures, academic presentations, mini-courses, workshops and festivities.

CIPÓ’s program assistant, Igor Loiola, acted as secretary-general of the congress, while researchers Vinicius Lopes and João Cumarú gave lectures on topics such as global governance and China’s return to the center of the power struggle, with an emphasis on climate, security and race issues.

The largest event for international relations students in Latin America, ENERI has been held annually since 1995. Its mission is to foster the exchange of knowledge between students, professionals and enthusiasts in the field, promoting networking, academic and social integration, as well as professional and personal improvement.

Among the more than 70 names invited to give presentations at this year’s event were Supreme Court Justice Carmen Lúcia, Ambassador Rubens Ricupero, federal deputy Duda Salabert and Argentine economist and former UN diplomat Carolina Larriera.
