In March 2022, CIPÓ took part in the 2022 International Session for Latin America, organized at the Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defense (Institut des hautes études de défense nationale – IHEDN). The session brought together high-level military, government officials and researchers to debate international peace and security, defence cooperation, crisis management and geopolitics at the École Militaire, in Paris.
CIPÓ’s Executive Director, Adriana Abdenur, took part in the weeklong event. The IHEDN is a French public academic institution for research, education and promotion of expertise and sensitization towards defence matters under the Office for Cooperation in Security and Defense (Direction de la coopération de sécurité et de défense – DCSD) of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. The Institute trains high-level military, government officials and high-ranking executives in defence matters.
