CIPÓ joins Brazil-Forum UK 2023 panel

Maiara Folly, the executive director of Plataforma CIPÓ, is one of the confirmed panelists at the Brazil Forum UK 2023, which will take place on June 17-18 at the University of Oxfored (United Kingdom) and will be live streamed.

Folly will participate in the panel discussion titled “What is the role of the environmental agenda in reaffirming Brazil’s international leadership?” alongside Rodrigo Agostinho, president of the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA), and Toya Manchineri, general coordinator of the Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon (COIAB).

Under the theme “Innovating paths, transforming futures,” the forum will foster discussions on the following topics over the course of two days: Hunger Relief, Climate Change, Gender, Politics and Democracy, Education, Economy, Digital Transformation, Cities, and Public Security.

Folly will be participating in a panel discussion titled “The Role of the Environmental Agenda in Reaffirming Brazil’s International Leadership.” The panel will also include Rodrigo Agostinho, president of the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA), and Toya Manchineri, general coordinator of the Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon (COIAB).
