CIPÓ took part in the 2021 Berlin Climate and Security Conference

On the 28th of September at 12pm BRT, CIPÓ participated in the panel “Women, Peace, and Security and Climate Change at the UN: Lessons-Learned, Synergies, and Opportunities“, which is part of the 2021 Berlin Climate and Security Conference, organized by Adelphi, the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research (UNU-CPR), and the Berghof Foundation. The participants, representatives of member states, UN agencies, and civil society, defined challenges and identified solutions to better integrate the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) and Climate Change (CC) agendas at the UN, with an eye towards mitigating risk, preventing conflict, and building resilience.
