CIPÓ participates in publications launch by the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG – MRE)

On 11/29/22, CIPO participated in the launching of commemorative editions of two foreign policy periodicals of the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG): Cadernos do CHDD, which is celebrating 20 years of publication, and Cadernos de Política Exterior. The event took place in Rio de Janeiro.

The launch was also an occasion for networking between diplomats and researchers in the areas of diplomatic history and international relations, after the interruption caused by the pandemic.

FUNAG is a public foundation linked to the Ministry of External Relations (Itamaraty), and whose basic objectives are:

  • to carry out and promote cultural and pedagogical activities in the field of international relations;
  • to carry out and promote studies and research on issues related to international relations and on Brazil’s diplomatic history;
  • disseminate Brazilian foreign policy in its general aspects; and
  • contribute to the formation in Brazil of public opinion sensitive to the issues of international coexistence.
