In the National Interest Magazine, CIPÓ defends a between Brazil and China in climate and environmental issues

As part of the main foreign policy priorities of the new government, President Lula has signaled the need not only to resume and strengthen relations with strategic partners around the world, but also to maintain equidistante between the two largest global powers, the United States and China.

In an article in the National Interest Magazine, CIPÓ’s executive director, Maiara Folly, and researcher João Cumarú argue that this equidistance will be fundamental to guarantee Brazil’s autonomy in the international scenario, reducing the risks of undermining progress in strategic areas, such as trade, investment and technology transfer.
