CIPÓ is increasingly expanding its borders. The organization formalized its adhesion to the Latin American network of the Climate Action Network (CANLA).
The Climate Action Network (CAN) is a global network of more than 1,800 civil society organizations in more than 130 countries that drive joint and sustainable action to combat the climate crisis and achieve social and racial justice.
The organization was founded in the 1980s and contributes to civil society coordination in UN climate negotiations and other international forums.
