CIPÓ participates in the ‘Conference on Transnational Organized Crime’

On December 9th at 6 pm (Brasilia time), Felipe Schaeffer Neves, Plataforma CIPÓ’s researcher, will participate in the Conference on Transnational Organized Crime as a speaker in the panel “Manifestations of Transnational Organized Crime”.

The event is organized by the Center for Studies on Transnational Organized Crime (CeCOT) of the Institute of International Relations (IRI) of the National University of La Plata (UNLP), with the support and co-organization of AMASSURU, Network of Women in Security and Defense of Latin America and the Caribbean, and Sustainable World Network.

Felipe will present the findings of CIPÓ’s latest strategic report on the criminal networks associated with illegal gold mining in the Amazon
