On the April 14th, the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (ABRAJI) published a news article about Data Zoom Amazônia, an initiative of the Amazon 2030 project, which brings together Imazon, the Climate Policy Initiative, the Amazon Entrepreneurship Center and the Department of Economics at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
Data Zoom Amazônia allows users to generate data analysis from different sources, constituting an important tool for journalists, researchers and for public debate. The project’s website generates digital visualization boards and analyses related to four thematic areas: Development, Labor Market, Foreign Trade and Deforestation.
The platform displays the mapping of actors involved in combating and preventing environmental crimes in the Amazon developed by Plataforma CIPÓ.
