This panel held as a side event to the UN Security Council’s Open Debate on Gender, Peace and Security aimed to discuss ways of integrating the Climate Change debate into the Gender and Security agenda and vice versa. Adriana Erthal Abdenur, Executive Director of CIPÓ, spoke about climate risks in Latin America and their relationship with gender inequality and security dynamics in the region.
