The policy briefs from the T20 Brasil Task Force 02 – “Sustainable Climate Action and Just and Inclusive Energy Transitions”, co-led by Plataforma CIPÓ and the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI), are available for download. A total of 68 policy briefs were accepted and published. These documents present discussions and recommendations for the T20 and the G20 process.
The Task Force is divided into 7 subtopics with the following themes: Promoting Sustainable, Inclusive, and Just Energy Transitions; Accelerating the Transition to a Low-Carbon Economy and Sustainable Consumption/Production; Stimulating Investments and Open Innovation for the Socio-bioeconomy and Nature-based Solutions; Investing in Sustainable, Inclusive, and Resilient Infrastructure; Optimizing Access to Multilateral and Climate Funds and Leveraging Private Capital for Climate Finance; Operationalizing Climate Justice through Finance and Technology Transfer; and Implementing Fair Sustainability Reporting Requirements: The Role of ESG Metrics.
