The impacts of US presidential elections upon Brazil’s environmental policy

On November 3, 2020, CIPÓ’s Programme Director, Maiara Folly, participated in the virtual event ‘Risks and Analysis’, organized by Política por Inteiro, to discuss the impacts of US presidential elections upon Brazil’s environmental policies.

  • Daniel Nepstad: PhD in Forest Ecology from Yale University. co-founder of the Earth Alliance and member of the World Bank’s Advisory Board on Forests. President and founder of the Earth Innovation Institute.
  • Maiara Folly: Co-founder of Plataforma CIPÓ
  • Rubens Barbosa: former Brazilian ambassador to Washington (1999- 2004), President of the Institute of International Relations and Foreign Trade; President of the Foreign Trade Council of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp).
