CIPÓ researcher Gabrielle Alves participated in the Roundtable “The North and the Pan-Amazon: natural potential for Brazil’s economic and international growth,” held as part of the National Meeting of International Relations Students in Bahia 2020-2021. Gabrielle highlighted the importance of creating sustainable public policies in line with international agreements, and of ratifying the Escazú Agreement to protect and build capacity among the peoples of the Pan-Amazon region.
Among the speakers, Cassia Moraes, Juarez Baldoino, Willian Monteiro Rocha and Sônia Janete Gomes were present.
