On November 25, CIPÓ’s Programme Director, Maiara Folly, participated in the VII Water and Youth Forum. The theme of this year’s edition was: “The impacts of the ongoing context marked by the dismantling of environmental policies aimed protecting river basis and the importance of mobilizing the youth to respond to such impacts”
In this event, young people actively participated in the exchange of ideas and experiences about the management of water resources and the development of policy proposals for the conservation of river basins.
CIPÓ’s director participated in the event’s opening to discuss the importance of youth participation in United Nations climate negotiations, based on her experience as an observer at COP26 (Glasgow).
