For the first time ever, government and civil society representatives of all eight ACTO countries gathered in Brasília on October 17 to talk about different ways of enforcing the Amazon Summit-approved Belém Declaration.
In their speeches, both Plataforma CIPÓ’s Executive Director, Maiara Folly, and ACTO Secretary-General, María Alexandra Moreira López, stressed that multiple voices are what sets the workshop, held jointly by both organizations, apart from other events.
