The “Global Governance Innovation Report 2024” by the Global Governance Information Network (GGIN), of which Plataforma CIPÓ is a member, is now available for download. Authored by Joris Larik, Nudhara Yusuf, and Richard Ponzio from the Stimson Center, the document explores new approaches to global economic governance with a focus on human security.
The publication provides an in-depth analysis and proactive solutions to contemporary global challenges. Topics range from economic coordination within the UN-G20 system to innovations in global trade.
The official launch took place on June 21st during the annual meeting of the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS) at the UN University in Tokyo, Japan. The event included a Global Policy Dialogue in support of the Summit of the Future. Participants emphasized the importance of multilateral diplomacy and impact coalitions for adopting significant reforms in global governance.
