On November 8th, during COP-27, Maiara Folly participated in the event “Forests and oceans as key biodiversity reserves: experiences and contributions from civil society in promoting climate action in Latin America and Caribbean”, organized by the Climate Action Network Latin America (CANLA).
At the occasion, Plataforma CIPÓ Programme Director Program emphasised the importance of strengthening South-south cooperation arrangements aimed at protecting and sustainably managing the biodiversity threatened by environmental crimes in the Amazon region.
