Balaio is a basket, usually made of straw, very common in the handicrafts of the indigenous and other traditional peoples in Brazil.

Balaio provides brief, clear content and analyses, mostly from Global South experts (including CIPÓ members), researchers, journalists and practitioners, on topics of global relevance, such as climate action, global governance, international peace and security, forced migration and the role of China in Latin America and the Caribbean.
