These positions transcend traditional barriers of political and electoral polarization. Conducted online between June and July 2026 among 2,000 respondents from socioeconomic classes A, B, and C, the survey investigated views on state intervention, the labor market, household debt, taxation, and foreign policy, highlighting significant convergence around a fairer economic model with robust social protection. <\/p>\n\n
Despite political differences, the public overwhelmingly rejects the concepts of a minimal state and unrestricted deregulation. Survey data show that approximately 47% of respondents advocate for a strong government role in driving long-term sustainable growth\u2014a stance shared by both supporters (50%) and critics (46%) of the current federal administration. Furthermore, 59% favor state control over strategic companies, and 66% demand public intervention in Petrobras’s fuel pricing policies.Convergence is even stronger on labor and financial issues: 73% support ending the 6×1 work schedule (transitioning to a 40-hour workweek with no reduction in pay), 69% approve of the new income tax rules, and 65% attribute household debt to high interest rates, holding the executive branch responsible for intervening in credit costs. <\/p>\n\n
The study also tested the appeal of different political narratives, demonstrating that the agenda for the so-called “New Economy”\u2014focused on curbing abusive price hikes, taxing the super-rich, and recognizing care work\u2014achieved a 59% approval rating, compared to 27% for the right-wing liberal platform.
In the view of the experts behind the survey, the report confirms that Brazilians recognize the flaws in the current economic model and demand proactive governments dedicated to protecting family living standards and national sovereignty. <\/p>\n\n
