The Executive Director of Plataforma CIP\u00d3, Maiara Folly, took part this Friday (12\/12) in a panel at an international conference organized by the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI), marking the ten-year anniversary of the Paris Agreement. The event was livestreamed and brought together experts from various global institutions to assess the progress achieved since 2015 and to discuss the future of international climate action over the next decade, especially in the post-COP30 context. <\/p>\n\n
Lasting two hours, the conference fostered a broad debate on global governance, the implementation of climate commitments, and the political, economic, and social challenges involved in accelerating the transition toward sustainable development. The discussion highlighted the need to strengthen international cooperation and to expand the leadership role of Global South actors in the climate agenda. <\/p>\n\n

Throughout the discussions, panelists analyzed the impacts of the Paris Agreement over the past decade and underscored the urgency of aligning public policies, climate finance, and private-sector commitments in order to maintain the goals of limiting global warming.<\/p>\n\n
