In the article, Vieira commented on the increasingly organised nature of criminal groups perpetrating and profiting from environmental crimes, which include public servants in environmental agencies. \u201cCriminals are often able to infiltrate the forestry credit systems, defrauding documents and data\u201d, frequently with the involvement of employees from the environmental agencies themselves.<\/p>\n\n

CIP\u00d3\u2019s study was also featured in InfoAmaz\u00f4nia<\/a> and Combating Environmental Racism websites<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
